Chandler Girls Softball
Field Reservations

Option 1: Free Fields Through CGSL

CGSL typically receives field time donated to us from the City of Chandler for our coaches to use throughout the season. Availability can vary depending on what is donated and the number of teams in the league.

Beginning Fall 2025 we are attempting to automate internally reserving fields via a web app. All coaches will need to create an account at practice.chandlergirlssoftball.org.

Fields for the next week will unlock at 8am on Mondays. (ie. 8am Monday, August 4th for the week of Monday, August 11th) This will allow teams to book one practice slot. At 3pm each Monday the ability for a team to book a second practice slot will open, for a max of two league supplied fields per week. These will be on a first come first serve basis, with the exception of those who do board duty the week prior to scheduling.

To view the fields available, take a look at the Practice Calendar.

Also, starting Fall 2025 with the (almost) full move to Tumbleweed, we are going to be utilizing 2 hour practice windows and sharing fields. Teams will get one hour in the infield, and then one hour in the outfield (beyond the 200ft home run fence). Order (infield or outfield first) will be determinded by which reservation slot you choose. This allows us to get the most out of the field space we have. The exception will be Friday nights at Folley East, those practices will be one team in the old time windows (5-6, 6-730, 730-9)

OPTION 2: Directly through Chandler

Fields can be rented by coaches directly through the city at a discounted rate for Chandler residents.

*You will need to create an account on this site before being able to rent a field.

OPTION 3: Other Coaches

Get with other coaches! Use the chat room in Team Snap for your division to coordinate with other coaches on splitting field time, or organizing scrimmages. An example of splitting field time can look like one team starting in the outfield, the other in the infield, then switching half way through. Coordinating on a paid field can further reduce the cost if it's split between two teams, and splitting a free field helps spread the wealth.
